On June 11th, my class and I walked the streets of Florence and learned about a few of the iconic shops in the city. The most memorable part was visiting the Richard Ginori Ceramic store. Inside was filled with bright colors, bold design, and a light and happy atmosphere. The greenery contrasted against the bright colors of hand painted ceramics, filling the store. The employees were professionally dressed and added to the overall light and airy atmosphere.
The lights inside were bright and focused on the beautiful art pieces. Although the pieces are exsqisite, they are not something that I could afford as a college student. However, if/when I return to Firenze as an older adult, I would love to make a purchase at Richard Ginori and incorporate it into my home.
It was a wonderful day exploring the city with my class and I’m thrilled to have been able to share this experience with you.
